I'm glad he liked the movie, but he use took the bait that Snape is "evil and duplicitous."  Roll Eyes  I'm sure that will make Kloves and Yates happy. But probably not Alan Rickman, although it means he was a convincing Death Eater.

Here is still another new image of Snape I found on Snitchseeker:

Sometimes I wonder if the people who write such things are just playing along and are trying not to reveal too much too soon.  There do seem to be a fair number of people who only know the HP story from the movies, and may not know that evil Snape is a red herring.

Rickman is never happy when his characters are labeled, especially as "villain."

You're right - that person could just be playing along so they won't spoil Deathly Hallows.  Wink

If you look closely at the bookshelves, there are little figurines here and there, almost like toy soldiers or chessmen.

Anyone seen this? It's a 10-minute preview, all in French, but it has some new footage, close-ups of the sets, and interviews with the kids. Plus, at 00:53 you can see Spinner's End!

Wow! So Snape's office really exists - it's not just a 3D for bluescreen? After all this time, I thought it might still be so. That means they probably just filmed it all in panorama for that full circle one we analysed. I was well fooled by it.

Now, after the movies are finished - if they would just transfer it to that 'Harry Potter World' (or whatever it will be called) I will have to actually go see it!

And I will admit that even Quidditch looked better. Grittier. With Ron making some good saves. You can certainly see why a keeper would need the extra padding - kind of more like in hockey.

And the Weasley Whizzes looks spectacular! Harry's 1000 galleons went a LONG way! I wouldn't think approx. $10,000 would be enough for a store like that. Altho' I suppose they had a lot of profits since then in mail order? Then again - I suppose a great deal of the decor might be charmed?

Squeeee!

Oh yeah - the Snape's Office/Lab is one of the movie sets they use over and over.  But they didn't use it in PoA or GoF - stupid directors! They appear to have given it a makeover for OotP and HBP.

I wish I knew what it said. Why oh why did I not want to learn German when I was a kid? I should've known I'd need it for this exact purpose all these years later!

Severus looks lovely, as always, but it's going to be a long movie if we have to see Fenrir and Bella grouped with him often.  Roll Eyes

They really want audiences to buy the betrayal of Harry and Dumbledore at the end. I'll be curious to read the reviews of people who don't know the series well.

Let's just hope they allow Snape's true colors to come through in DH.  Which will absolutely blow the minds of the anti-Snape crowd.

I think it's going to happen. They are really pushing Snape to the forefront in the advertising and that sets him up at least for the second Deathly Hallows movie - hopefully for both or I won't go to the first one.  Wink
