I've only just seen this (was looking through previous pages for my fave Snape poster pic ) and found this on page 107... It's in German, so I've taken a look at the whole article (several pages! ) and tried to decipher the gist - the resolution is not the best, and it takes a lot of squinting to read it... but as it turns out, most of it is about more or less the usual stuff, for the average HP movie fan. The young actors (can't really call them kids anymore!) are talking about the fun they had while acting, how they did and felt about the snogging scenes (ooh, this time for both Harry and Ron... I don't know why they keep asking about the teenage hormone fests when the film has actual plot ), this film being "lighter and funnier" than OotP according to Rupert Grint (huh? ), the wizard costumes (Helena Bonham Carter and Emma Watson didn't like them at all and just wanted to get rid of them), "Neville" enjoying that he had less work to do than the Trio and could e.g. just go and buy a pack of milk in between filming, Daniel Radcliffe getting himself a fridge... here and there interspersed with tidbits of plot. The only two I could spot about Snape were 1) a reference to Draco's task "in which he is supported by teacher Severus Snape" (hmm well, "supported"... either the author didn't read DH or they didn't want to spoil it for the movies-only fans), and - on the page with the Snape photo - 2) the used book Harry gets from Slughorn, "in which a former student of Slughorn, the Half-Blood Prince, gives useful additional instructions". Actually, in my opinion the Snape photo in here would be far more interesting for us Snapeophiles than anything in the text. I have to say though that the few things the author has to say about Snape (in spite of his central role especially in HBP!) at least aren't disparaging about him (the wording is pretty much neutral, which I've tried to replicate), nor do they put him squarely into the camp of evil. That's at least mildly encouraging.

I cannot BELIEVE they have Harry reading the Daily Prophet in a Muggle Eatery! Are they just trying to prove how dense the kid can be? Altho' the pics don't appear to be moving - are they? Hard to tell in a still photo.
Yes, in fact the waitress makes note that she thought she saw a picture move. They never really explain how that works in the books or movies, I think. Can Muggles see the magic photos move? And if so- are wizards responsible for keeping them hidden or out of muggle areas?

OK, I will be the lone dissenter here, but... I love those golden shoes Definitly only for show-off, not the restaurant before, LOL - but me likey. But heck, I am the kind to wear 3' platform shoes (and for my size, it looks and feels like 4 or 5' )

You need a couple more decades of letting your spine age and your joints stiffen before you can really appreciate how hazardous those shoes are. *shudder* Just imagine explaining in the ER that the reason you broke a hip was because you fell off your hideously tall designer shoes! The funny thing to me is that JKR seems in denial regarding her possible osteoporosis, not to mention what gravity has done with her decolletage. Even being the wealthiest woman in the Milky Way Galaxy can't prevent nature from doing what comes naturally, if you know what I mean.

I may not wear much heel now that I'm older, but even back in my 20s (when I did wear some tall heels) I would never consider a pair of SIX-inch heels for any kind of walking or standing. And we're talking about the days when I could actually RUN for a taxi in a pair of 3" heels. However, I also spent most of the day sitting at a desk. And I also wore Dr. Scholl's insoles. No way do those have extra padding, it would show.
Of course, it appears that one inch of them is actually platform, so that makes them only 5" heels in reality, but let's face it - if someone has to hold your hand just so you can walk in them, then they're too tall. Especially if you need to stand still in them for long periods of time.
Perhaps the platform is more like 2" under her toes? That would bring them down to only 4" heels, which would be considerably more sensible? I actually don't have much problem with the idea of tall platform shoes - more with the angle the foot must be contorted into so one can wear the shoes. My feet hurt just looking at them.
However, I must admit, they go MUCH better with the second dress.

Hmmm, those shoes ... too gold and strappy for my taste, and I definitely am a high heel person (If it weren't for the omnipresent granite cobble stone pavement here I would wear them all the time ) Since even orthopaedic sandals manage to give me blisters I gladly take my chances with something more elegant: "I feel no difference" Don't worry about that, SIP. Boomslangs like me are tree snakes, hence the name (in Dutch / Afrikaans). In Dutch the plural would probably be boomslang en, though ... All the same, serpentine, be careful! As to all the delicious Snape's and Rickman's: *swoon*

I only watched a couple seconds of this, but I'm trying to hold back on the rest because too much has been released of this film already.. Thehollow, I've been getting the same feeling, and haven't watched the most recent batch of clips at all. Too much... I'll probably hold off on watching the film until it is in the IMAX theater here- it opens July 29. My understanding is that most IMAX theaters will be screening the movie late, due to the release date change last fall. Rotten Tomatoes has up a number of early reviews, and some related material on the entire series. Reviews seem to converge on this being the second-best HP flick after PoA: "A comfortable second in IGN's opinion, the depth and scale of the drama raising it above the level of the one-dimensional early films, and the sensitivity with which these heavy themes are handled a marked improvement on the more callous Order of the Phoenix. It doesn't reach the magical heights of Alfonso Cuaron's truly spellbinding Prisoner of Azkaban, but Yates is fast approaching that territory, which bodes well for his helming of the final instalments." -- Chris Tilly, IGN UK Edited to add this line from the SFX review: And, at last, Alan Rickman’s wonderfully hammy Snape gets more than a cameo appearance for the first time since film one, and he makes the most of every glacially-delivered line.
